Easier Ride To The Hamptons

For those of you who spend your summer in the Hamptons, you'll be happy to know that one of the causes of gridlock in the area has been fixed. Construction on County Road 39 is complete. That's about a four mile stretch into the East End that shouldn't drive you into a mad rage anymore. If you head out there, let me know how the ride goes for you.

Thank goodness! I was wondering if I would be stuck in my Limo a lot on the way back and forth to my mansion! Now, I can leave the helicopter at the marina and save a little gas. What a relief!

Kathy, I apologize for my lame attempt at humor. Of course, you were being serious about something which I'm sure matters to a lot of people and I was just being silly. I meant no disrespect. I didn't realize that I seemed different lately, thanks for letting me know. I assure you, my demeanor has nothing to do with anything here on the blog. There are a few things bothering me, so I suppose that may have shown through in the tone of some my comments. There are certain things in my life which can sometimes take most of my energy and temporarily change my attitude. I'll be fine, though, it's nothing that I haven't dealt with before. If it wasn't s struggle sometimes, it wouldn't be worth much! Thanks for asking, I appreciate your concern. Besides, it's such a beautiful day today, why worry. I hope you have some time to be outside. Be well.

Sorry to hear about the other things going on... (I can relate)
But as someone with a positive attitude like yourself knows, the sun shines at some point.

Kathy Carvajal is a producer for Fox 5's website MyFoxNY.com. She began her career in television news as a producer in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After nearly two years down south, Kathy returned to the New York City area to work as a producer at NY1 News.
