Sen Obama's plans will make life easier for more Americans than Sen McCain who wants to continue the policies of Pres Bush and give tax breaks to the rich only.

Sen McCain wants to stay in Iraq for the next 100 years at cost of how many trillions of dollars and lost lives for a war that should have been over as soon as Sadaam was caught.

The RNC spent $150,000.00 for clothes for Sarah Palin and now she says they are not her clothes and are being donated to charity or auctioned off - that is a tremendous waste of money - are these the people you want handling your tax dollars? I do not think so.

Gov Palin has also abused her power as Governor and is clearly not qualified to be one heartbeat away from the presidency.

Joe the plumber was a fake, he is not a plumber and he has only worked for the company he pretends he wants to buy for 6 years not ten as described by Sen McCain.  The whole Joe the plumber was a setup and is an example of the dishonesty of Sen McCain, the RNC and his running mate Gov Palin.

Intelligence is better than experience and Sen Obama is an honest, intelligent candidate and should be the next President of the United States of America.

As this city finds itslef in the grip of escalating violence, our leaders, politicians and people of faith still refuse to discuss the real cause of violence, violenmce against women.

Though the major news outlets report of drug arrests and statistics, the statistics of violence against women are ignored.

For the month of April for one beat in Chicago, Beat 1021- violence against women was the leading crime committed.

Felicia Curry and other women have been run down by violent male abusers in cars with littyle fanfare.  Only since members of Ms Curry's family  recently passed out flyers has these violent acts received any attention fropm the major news outlets and others.

Women and people with disabilities are vulnerable. 

Get involved.  Violence against women affects every one in the family including the husbands, who lose a wife and friend, and the children, who lose a mother and mentor and friend.

Attend rallies and ask for statistics from your local police departments CAPS department and let's all join together to end this violence now.

Off the subject of the stupidest, crooked race to be President campaign

Officials state "this system gives citizens a sense of empowerment.  Repairs to city property such as potholes, stray pets who might pose a danger to a community as well as making a date to enjoy one of the city's many festivals can be handled through this line and handled by any citizen who desires to do so.

It makes one realilze that they are "the boss."

to request wire garbage cans in public places, report stray animals, tow abandoned vehicles, report and repair potholes

to request information about city events, neighborhood festivals including parades, Grant Park and Millineum Park festivals

to get information on city programs such as the City Mortgage Plans, Homelessness Prevention Call Center which will pay a one-time only mortgage payment, rent, utilities

to report non-emergency police services, to make a police report or talk to police personnel

to find out what political district you live in as well as your Alderman's name, to request city services through them

Every thing is an outrage ... 

Would Sen Obama have to explain the actions of a pedophile member of the clergy or a thief ?  His fomer Pastor can see the constant racist attacks being launched at Sen Obama as everyone else can. 

 And on TV the quiet indignation, indignation - there was a News Commentary on "Violent America"  detailing the fall of this civilation because of rampant, unchecked, total violence, immoral behavior and now we know,  racism, violence against women in alarming numbers.  Six women shot, robber picked a woman's store so he so he wouldn't have to confront men, five school-girls - girls shot to death after gunman releases the boys, Stacy Peterson still missing, woman found dead in fetal position frozen to the ground on 35th st.,  nineteen Chicago public school children shot to death this year.  There was only a brief mention in the news about a 15 year old black girl who did not return home from school.  The killers called her family on her cell phone and told them to go to an abandoned building and find their daughter, another daughter kidnapped from her home after what appears to be a break-in..still missing.

This historic event is not. It's the same racist  rhetoric as always.  The dollar is at an all time low, the economy is faltering, a war rages against the wrong country and their citizens and it's obvious our President does not have a clue what to do. 

The Clintons with their domestic drama and affairs and cat fights over who would get to keep Bill (rapist?) Hillary or - well finally, in Monica Lewinski, he finally found someone he didn't have to rape or threaten with termination if she did not "Put out" as they charge he did.

Eight years of the Clinton White House is still being re-negotiated, presented for revocation to the Supreme court, Osama Bin Laden still at large, NAFTA the list goes on and on.. 

Yet, the faces I see on TV, the simmering rage, the indignation .

Get your indignation and go see if you can find Osama Bin Laden or  the murderers of all these women and children.  It seems these people are just looking for anything to rant and rave about.  Go rant and rave at these woman and children killers - some so loud and brazen in their attacks, you know they are so violent they think they do have the authority to rape, rob and kill because of a person's gender or ethnic group.  If you can constantly dig up "garbage", dig up some ways to shore up this sagging economy.. 

The New Commentary did not sink in, did it - this country is still "Violent , racist America"-can't you see you are destroying your selves? While all of this garbage was being done, Al Qaueda was quietly  laying plans to destroy America, egged on by former President Clinton's half -baked bombing of one of his training sites - he said he was "trying to scare him" - nobody's scared of America - Violent America,  If you, white people can say it, so can Obama's Pastor.

America, your chickens have come home to roost.

Sen Clinton, her husband, former President Bill, and her staff have continously played the race card. First, she decried, she wasn't being attacked because she is a woman, that was playing the gender card.  Now they are continually bring up race, really ethnic identity, since there is technically only one race, the human race.

It's obvious that Sen Clinton is trying to get white voters to pull together against blacks.  Countless studies show that a great majority of white people think blacks are intellectually inferior. Therefore, we all know Sen Clinton's viewpoint on Rev Dr Martin Luther King v President Johnson on the Civil Rights issues. To put it in black and white, Sen Clinton's message was "you stupid black people have no power and you couldn't get any law passed anywhere." There have also been studies attemping to negate the black vote as "too weak and ineffectual to bother going after if you are running for political office."  In oher words, blacks don;'t count and they better take whatever we dish out.

That is total racism, and she is not going to woo the black vote back at a general election.  Sen Clinton won in Ohio because of their ads that were so touching and heartwarming.  The story of a woman who followed her boyfriend to another state to help him with his plans to go into politics. Moreover, the ads continued they were both so young and idealistic. 

The truth is, a desperate "fatal attraction female" chased a womanizing, sexist, some say "rapist" hack  to another state, more than likely some other woman probably had laid claim to him, and she was laying claims to him also.  There was nothing romantic about it.  By the way, their candidate lost in a landslide.   But, then they couldn't say, "y'all let's unite against these blacks, cause anybody know if the blacks are for it,whites better go against it."

I'll never vote for either of them again and former President Bill Clinton IS NOT BLACK.

We have a new police Superintendent... are things going to change?  Blogs at Secondcitycop.blogspot.com indicate that Weis has appointed a staff rich in diversity, recently met with a group of local Reverends, is increasing the recruitment of minorties, it seems there is a change acomin....

Some comments on the blog mentioned above indicate that a few unknowing officers are offended that Weis met with the Reverends, but as their jobs and quality of life improve, they will know Weis is doing an awesome job as Chicago's Top Cop.

For you information - A lot of churches/faiths have joined together as the Interfaith Project, meaning the song "we all in the same gang" is true - and it does not mean criminal gangs, y'all.

Look for some big changes in Chicago - especially in the mostly black communities - Vote.

The CTA has been in a doomsday state for the last twenty years. Imagine not being able to get a bus to go to school because the route had been cut?  That happened in the early seventies, many of my classmates had to walk 10 -12 blocks to get a bus to go to school.

The old, worn out buses have been the topic of conversation for years too.  One need only ride one of these  worn out buses to see that its time to replace it or repair it.

It's good that everyone now knows that our legislators are "playing politics" with people's livlihood and we know who to vote for in the next election.

Just for you information, once the CTA was the job to go for, especially if you were in college or trade school.  WEmployment there was considered making easy, extra money.  College students and other students on break ,would get a part-time job with the CTA and be set when school resumed.

To all who commented on my violence against women blog.

I was answering comments to the blog on violence against women.  One comment was from Hilcat about gun purchasing, I agreed  with Hilcat that it is too difficult for responsible citizens to purchase guns, etc to protect ourselves in the event of an outright attack on the citizens of this great country by Al Qaeda with the assistance of the Russians mentioned in my answer to their comments,  or other terrorist groups.  The KKK is now classified as a terrorist group.  In one case, Dave Duke, a high level goof in the KKK visited Syria to spread their racist garbage.

And two Al Qaeda members were arrested last year, 2006, on Chicago's west side.  Therefore we need to be able to defend ourselves. Those topics were answers to my comments in my blog on violence against women.  Read the comments and my answers to their comments before you get offended and make nasty comments to me.

As for the sterotype of a black women, several news shows were about why white women worried about their weight and being slim, while blacks and other minority women didn't care about being fat or overweight and are often overweight from the physcial and sexual abuse they suffer.  Are white women not fat, sexually and physically abused?  Of course, they are and no it is not my idea of a black woman as being fat and bald headed.  Did you miss Don Imus's comments on "the nappy headed hoes?" There is a lot going on in the black community that you are not aware of and you needn't write nasty replys to people "like me" as someone wrote, who are out there on the front lines with the intentions to improve life in this WORLD, women and vulnerable people are not being abused in this country only, did you read about Oprah's school?  We also did not have to wait for a situation such as the "Jena Six" to now that there are disparities in how blacks are treated in the legal systems also.   This is not meant to insult anyone, mommacat, as you seem to be just waiting to holler I'm insulted, but you need to do something besides wait for someone else to work on these situations, and then get insulted and say "what".  Forget the garbage and get busy or at least offer encouragement to "us people" who are hard at work making life easier for EVERYONE.

Violence against women is at an all time high.  When local columnists write articles about the violence, it is time to act.

There are several organizations, etc addressing domestic violence.  Domestic violence, though, is an extension of violence against women.

Orders of protection, once issued to protect one from a mate or life partner, now have the inclusion "no third party contact". 

Is everyone ganging up against women, who are usually the victims of domestic violence?

Who does not have a mother, daughter, sister, girlfriend, wife or another female loved one, be it a mentor, boss or good friend?

Then why are you doing nothing? 

Get busy, if only to discuss this subject with a friend.

"All that evil needs to prevail ,is for good people to do nothing."

The blog secondcitycop.blogspot.com is an interesting cite.

If the comments are true, broken equipment, short staff, dictator sgts, it is no wonder the CPD is in trouble.

Goofs, racists and generally stupid people and crooks are the only ones who will tolerate such conditions.  They don't need a good working environment to steal and shirk off their duties while they collect a paycheck and do as little as possible.

Racist and other ne-er do wells can operate without being discovered because everything is in disarray.

Vote Daley out of office, and some of the other crooks and everything in the city will improve.

To help ease the pain and hurt of the family of Nailah and other victims of violence,   become active in work to stop  violations of women's rights. 

The National Organization for Women (NOW) Newsletter is a good newasletter to subscribe to keep abreast of legislation concerning women's rights and new laws protecting women's civil rights and abating the violent attacks against women that seems to have increased dramatically recently.

Another excellent site to subscribe to is Tolerance.org.  This site teaches how to live in a multi ethnic society.  It features  on-going series every February during African American HIstory month titled "Why Wasn't I Taught That In School? It is an excellent series and should be read by all people.  Knowledge is power.

National Alliance of the Mentally Ill's mission is to dispel the old stigmas of mental illness and protect the rights of those who are living with a mental illness as well as provide information for families who have a family member or friend who a a mental illness and how they can assist their family member and themselves as well deal with this often misunderstood illness.

If you cannot volunteer your time, contributions are welcome.

Become active in something to benefit society and you will reap the rewards of being a volunteer and knowing that it is better to give than receive. 

Anuka wins sexual harrassment lawsuit.  Let's hope all women who have to live with unwanted sexual advances, discrimination, degrading language and abusers, can now expect to receive a fair and impartial hearing for women who are not as famous as Anuka.

Women and girls are far too often the victims of violence because of their gender or/and disability.

Become active and stand up for women's rights.  Stand up for the right of the disabled. You can help by becoming a volunteer.  Some organizations  offer training to assist you in becoming an advocate in the area of  your choice.

You will feel fantastic, for it is true, it is better to give than to receive.

Sen Hillary Clinton is obviously the darling of the media.  With all of the one-sided reporting, I think the media is the one who trys to make us choses their choice for our  legislators.

Sen Hillary and Media, laughing is when you are so stupid you have no answer.

Remember this quotation, It is better to be silent and thought a fool, then to open your mouth and prove it.

Now we all know the reason for the laughter, and that's not so  brillant, Mr and Mrs Media.

The criticisms regarding Mr Obama seem racial.

Have you people forgot that Barack Obama is multi-racial?  He has a white mother and was raised by his mother and his white grandparents.

Why are people questioning if he is black enough and can be become the first black president?

If Bill Clinton was the first "black" president, with all the racist legislation he signed into law - we need a president a little less black.

Obama should make a good president.

Regarding scandals - wasn't Hillary involved in a real estate scandal or some sort, that is when she wasn't traipsing the white house referring to Bill (romeo) as dummy and do do head.  He in turn was having sex to everything not fast enough to get away.

And these are the two you want in the white house again.
