First Marathon

I have heard from amny many people that"hitting the wall" is certain. While I have run several 25K races,I am wondering what the extra 11.2 miles are going to do to my head and body. If you have any friendly advice as race day approaches (May 24), I would appreciate hearking from you. Thanks.

A family man with 2 beuatiful daughters and a wonderful wife. Oh yeah, better not forget the other female in my life, our dog Daisy. I enjoy running, biking and spending time in the yard. Former college baseball player and coach, who still loves to watch the Tigers. Although it is getting harder each day. Planning to run my first marathon this spring, maybe my last. I'll let you know how it goes. Have a great day.
