All we heard late last year and early this year that the CTA was trying to avoid dooms day to avoid cutting service and employess losing their jobs because they didn't have the money.

Now that Governor Blagojevich has helped get a bill passed to bail out the CTA and they now have the funding all you hear on the news is how the CTA is going to make it easier for people to track buses in route by use of home computers and cell phones.

If the CTA needed the money so bad to keep operating at full service, why are they now spending so much to improve the service and where is this money coming from?

What are your thoughts about this?

devildog67,

That's a good question! They should be buying buses made in America to help the economy. Why should our tax dollar go to another country.

The only way someone would find out who's getting the kick back is to follow the money trail.
