Six Vacation Spots Threatened by Global Warming

1.) Glacier National Park Montana

Over the past 40 years 12 glaciers have disappeared.

By 2030 all of the parks namesake glaciers could be gone.

2.) Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Since 1912, 82% of the ice fields have disappeared.

By 2020 all of the ice fields could be gone.

3.) Churchill, Manitoba, Canada

A U.S. Geological Survey shows that two-thirds of the entire polar bear population could disappear in 50 years.

Global Warming has shortened the polar bear's seal-hunting season and leaves them with less food.

4.) Lake Mead, Nevada

The water level is at its lowest in 40 years.

There is a 50% chance that Lake Mead will be dry by 2021.

5.) Mauritius

The island is surrounded by coral reefs that escaped the 1998 heat wave that killed most of the corals in the Indian Ocean.

One more hot year could finish off its reef fod good.

6.) The Maldives

The climate change continues to push sea levels higher, the government fear that the island could become submerged.

After the 2004 tsunami only nine of the 200 inhabited islands didn't flood.
