The Criminal Justice System is making a mockery of the laws in this country.. They have proven that it all depends on WHO you are, whether or not the laws apply, and it's a DISGRACE!!! Some innocent person is going to get killed because of their RECKLESS CONDUCT, and no one even gives a da*m... Lawyers, States Attorneys and Judges should be held liable for not doing their jobs in enforcing the law.. They have proven that the Laws DO NOT apply the same to all, and it's just a total disgrace.
People complain how Police Officer's aren't doing their job, but that's not true. They do arrest these law breakers; DUI's, Drugs, Guns, and it's the Courts who don't follow the letter of the law, and these people walk away scott free.. Take the case of the violent man who was locked up for domestic battery, threatening his wife, and the Judge let him out on an I Bond the next day. Within just a matter of a few days, this person is now in jail for killing 2 innocent people. Whose fault was that?

Proves to everyone that the laws do not apply the same to all. The laws in this country are so screwed up it's pathetic.. It is "who you are', and "who you know" to get out of crimes.. Money does talk and those who don't have it or aren't 'well known' get screwed in the BLEEP. This country has become a very sad and pathetic place, because no one gives a damn about the laws, morals or values it once use to represent. Hilton & Lohan, the day will come when then end up killing some innocent person because they don't abide by the laws and think they are too good to do that.. Athlete's break laws, but they don't get punished as they should either, and they let them continue to play because of who they are. It's just so friggin wrong.. I say;
"IF THE SAME LAWS DON'T ABIDE TO ALL PEOPLE, THEN WHY HAVE LAWS AT ALL?"
People bi*ch and complain about Cops not doing their jobs, and when they do, the Justice System lets them slide out of it anyway. Lawyers, States Attorney's and Judges should be held accountable for NOT doing their jobs as well.. Serious crimes and you can't get them to approve a Felony if their life depended on it.. So those of you who harp on Cops not doing their jobs, go sit in a courtroom and just listen & see how people who break the law get away with it, all because of our so called Great Criminal Justice System...............

I believe wearing a seat belt should be up to the Adults whether or not to wear them, but I do believe all kids should be belted in or in a car seat.. I don't believe it should be a Law until they enforce it ALL THE WAY! Why should I get a ticket for not wearing my seat belt, or my passenger when we send our children to school in school buses that don't even have or require seat belts? Or how about public transportation??
I have heard way to many horror stories how in crashes, the seat belt jams and you can't release it and have to wait to be "cut out of it". And God forbid your vehicle catches on fire and there's no one there to help you. I still remember the story of the State Trooper who was in his squad writing a ticket when he was hit from behind and his squad burst into flames and he couldn't get his seat belt unhooked and burned to death. That to me weighs more on wearing your seat belt up to the individual Adult. Yes seat belts can saves lives, but it can also take lives as well.
If any Traffic Law should be enforced MORE and a hefty fine is to be paid, is for the driver's who are ON THEIR CELL PHONES!

Theodore Roosevelt's ideas on immigrants and being
an AMERICAN.
"In the first place, we should insist that if the
immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an
American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be
treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for
it is an outrage to discriminate against any such
man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But
this is predicated upon the person's becoming in
every facet an American, and nothing but an
American...There can be no divided allegiance here.
Any man who says he is an American, but something
else also, isn't an American at all. We have room
for but one flag, the American flag... We have room
for but one language here, and that is the English
language... and we have room for but one sole
loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American
people."
Theodore Roosevelt 1907
