...could be about to change! The company most often entrusted with determining credit ratings is altering the way it does business--and that could mean good news OR bad news, depending on the way you're conducting yourself financially. Check it out! (This story aired on 6/6/08). Oh, and in the interest of full disclosure--special thanks to my pal Matt Krol who agreed to be interviewed for this report at the last minute when I couldn't find anyone else willing or interested in being grilled by me about THEIR credit!

I missed this original airing. I'm not worried about this because my credit history and rating are impeccable. I've never lived beyond my means and don't really feel sorry for those who over extend themselves with multiple credit card balances and balances are high to the point where they can't pay even the minimum on time. I also don't feel sorry for those individuals who actually thought they were entitled to get a mortgage for a home when their credit history and rating were dismal; many of these individuals fell for the shell game and even didn't have the thought process to hire an attorney specializing in such matters. Too many people blame everyone else but themselves for the credit predicament they find themselves in; like my dad used to say "...you made your bed, now lie in it...".
