It is rare to see Fox News Chicago in Englewood, unless a tragedy has occurred. It is even rarer when you see a married African America couple together with their family. This was a great chance to show a postive side of Englewood...Mark you looked great and the story was very informative and beneficial to consumers and viewers.

I bet they never thought about using a white, chinese, or a mexican family for the story.

Fox News just screwed the consumers by airing this story like.

I bet one of the Fox News big wigs was paid off to run this story by the grocery stores so they can have the excuse to raise the prices.

Thank you Fox news for screwing us!

Good point in your story, Mark. However, as prices of the essentials soar upward, the question should be, "How many of you are willing to give up the non-essentials?" For instance, do you really NEED that $5 latte every day? Do you NEED to go sit in the bar Friday night after work for $4 beers? Do you NEED to go to the nail salon for the $40 manicure with fill? Do you really NEED to see that movie at the theater for $10 each or can you wait to rent it in a few weeks for $2.50? I hear so many people complaining about how they won't be able to afford the essentials as prices go higher. However these same people will not give up the non-essentials. The spoiled people in our society NEED to sit and talk with someone who lived through the depression. They are the people who can fully describe the difference between essential and non-essential.
