This is what Chicago Congressmen are working on? With all the problems this city and state have......they're taking the time to attempt to change the laws of this country, to benefit illegal alien's who are fugitives from justice?

Anyone notice how silent the rabid chihuahua (Gutierrez) has been since the election?

Call YOUR Congressman tomorrow and tell them, to tell Bobby Rush, to put his bill H.R. 2182 where the sun doesn't shine!

You can call or write the Congressman at:

Congressman Bobby Rush
700-706 E. 79th. St.
Chicago, IL 60619
phone: 773-224-6500
fax: 773-224-9624

Please call him, regardless whether you're a constituent or not, and tell him what you think of this bill, and then tell him you DEMAND that the Federal Government ENFORCE it's laws on illegal aliens, LIKE ELVIRA ARELLANO, the same as they would you....a U.S. Citizen!!!

These double standards, have to end!

This is an ubelivable story, and after you read it you have to ask yourself, can this state really track and CHECK over 500,000 illegal immigrants when they apply for their "Driver's Certificates"?

Next week, Carpentersville Village President Bill Sarto, is going to attempt his first "Town Hall" meeting on a subject that previously scared him to death.

He had his staff and departments attempt to come up with a realistic number of illegal aliens living and working in Carpentersville, but they've all shrugged their shoulders.

The State of Illinois, as well as the Counties within it, do not keep any data whatsoever, on illegal aliens that law enforcement encounter, or are in our educational systems.  The single sentence that is common on every Freedom of Information Act request that you will see, is:

"THAT DATA IS NOT AVAILABLE.  IT IS AGAINST FEDERAL LAW, TO INQUIRE AS TO A PERSON'S IMMIGRATION STATUS."

This came from every police department I inqiured info from, as well as the State Police.

In other words....they don't exist., yet they're sucking the life out of taxpayers in this state.

In every governent questionaire you'll see, there will be a classification for race or ethnicity.
In those, Hispanic is most definitely one of the choices.

Everywhere you look, there's a separate classification for "Hispanics"......except crime data.

Jose' Rodriguez (real name), who was pulled over for driving without a license or insurance, when run by the police department for "wants and warrants", was run as a "white male".  Not a "Hispanic-White", but simply a "white".

Can you even begin to imagine how this has skewed our crime data?  While crime data is broken down by every classification  possible, you have to ask yourself, did someone just drop the ball on this, or was this oversight....by design?

A Strange Way to Show Gratitude

By Senator Chris Lauzen

Someone must say this out loud.

There were no mass political protests in Mexico City, nor in the capitals of some Eastern European countries.  But, tens of thousands of people marched in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. on behalf of folks who are breaking our country's immigration and typically employment and driving laws.

The majority of my constituents now recognize that they are paying for the failure of our federal elected officials to enforce the immigration laws of this country and the misguided misappropriation of incentives by state elected officials for those breaking the law.

On average, it costs $10,000 to educate one child for one year in Illinois public schools.  If an illegal immigrant family has four kids, it costs taxpayers $40,000 per year.  Thirteen years of this cost, from kindergarten through senior year of high school, adds up to a staggering $520,000 family benefit

Despite my "No" vote, some area legislators successfully voted to extend a 2/3rds discount on tuition paid by in-state illegal immigrants to our public universities. In effect, it now costs three times more for a legal citizen of Des Moines, Iowa, or anywhere else in the U.S., to attend the University of Illinois than it does for an illegal immigrant from another country.

Additionally, according to the Associated Press, 58% of the new enrollments in Governor Blagojevich's "All Kids" Healthcare Program are not legal residents of this state.  Recently, the Illinois House, with support of at least two area representatives passed legal driving privileges for illegal immigrants who currently flount immigration, employment, traffic and insurance laws.  It is incredibly na?, or downright dishonest, to expect our constituents to believe that this legal inconsistency was passed so illegal immigrants can be "tracked" better.

The response to this enormous give-away is not gratitude, but protest.

As Americans, we are generous, patient people, but once we understand what is really happening, many people resent having their good nature taken advantage of.  John F. Kennedy said, "Our nation is founded on the principle that observance of the law is the eternal safeguard of liberty, and defiance of the law is the surest road to tyranny...For no man however prominent and powerful, and no mob however unruly and boisterous, is entitled to defy a court of law."

It is a matter of human dignity to treat others as you would expect to be treated. I cannot go to a foreign country and break their laws with impunity.  In our country, if some are good enough and trusted enough to follow the law, then all must be trusted to be good and morally strong enough to follow the law. Otherwise, we will create a caste system in the United States, that has not existed since the evil of slavery, where the American value of "equality" before God and man's law has no meaning.  Not only will we have social discord, we will have the strong preying upon the weak.

Some on the Republican side drag their feet on enforcing the law and implementing appropriate reform because they think illegal immigrants represent "cheap labor" that will work subserviently.  The rest of us pick up the true cost.

Others on the Democrat side resist meaningful enforcement and pander to the basic instincts of desperate people because they anticipate "easy votes". The majority of law-abiding citizens are taunted with the slogan, "Today we march, tomorrow we vote."  Those who disrespect the current law are perhaps giving us fair warning of what lies ahead.

I enjoy living and raising my family in Aurora because we all represent a true cross-section of our country with 35% Hispanic, 25% African-American, and then the rest of us. We experience the process of real integration and assimilation every day.  The more someone reminds me that they're different from me, the more I consider our differences.  The more I see neighbors sweat when they work like I do, worry about paying their bills like I do, and laugh when their children play, the more I recognize and appreciate our natural common bond.  Respect for and adherence to the law is social adhesive.

Finally, the most recent objection to immigration law enforcement is "Don't divide families".  It is certainly true that our children benefit, or suffer, from the decisions that we make as parents.  I worry about the example that is being given to impressionable youths, and the lessons that are being taught that may be applied in the future to violent crime and drug use, when children realize that their parents can pick and choose what laws are to be followed.  Children should not be used as shields to justify illegal actions and decisions.

American Hispanics, native and immigrant (both legal and illegal), are at a crossroad.  They are deciding individually and as a group whether America for them is a land of earned opportunity or a land of demanded entitlement.

Should it stay dead?

Do you think the people in this state are finally fed up with the things that are costing us billions of dollars every year, but don't have to?

Governor Blagodope has done everything in his power to help illegal immigrants in Illinois, at the tax-payers' expense.  All-Kids, Free Kindergarten, Home loan assistance, and they're still going to try and get them driver's licenses.

Are they waking up?

Illegal Aliens in the state of Illinois, are the single biggest wound in it's severely bleeding budget, yet Blagodope wants all of us legal, law-abiding citizens to continue to foot the bill.  The GRT would instantly put thousands of large ticket business (car dealers etc..) out of business!  WHO IS THAT GOING TO BENEFIT???

Educating illegals by itself, cost this state over 2 BILLION DOLLARS in 2004.  That number HAS to have tripled by now because we all know that they are flocking to Illinois seeking sanctuary.

Hospitals are closing their doors because of the cost of services they must, by law, provide to Illegals and will never recoup.

Automobile insurance rates are at record highs because the chances of you hitting someone with no insurance (an illegal alien) is better than ever.

Talk to someone who's had an accident with an illegal.  Then ask your friends.  Everyone knows someone who has been forced to bear the financial burden of medical and repair expenses, because of an illegal alien driving when they shouldn't have been.

Millions of dollars each and every year, are given to non-profits, like the ICIRR and LaRaza, with the intent to HELP LEGAL IMMIGRANTS while in this country.

They in turn, get attorneys to fight legislation like what will be taking place in Carpentersville and other towns like it soon. Fighting for the "illegal immigrants", not the legal ones.

No legislation in this state, is harmful to a "legal" immigrant, but yet the media always calls it "anti-immigrant" legislation or ordinances.

These Attorneys, in the end, are paid for by you and me, the Illinois Tax Payer.  We're fighting ourselves.

The Federal Governent needs to start reviewing organizations like The Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, LaRaza and LULAC.

These organizations have been, and continue to operate so far outside of IRS guidelines it's sickening.

Clean the wound, sew it up with as many stitches as possible and it will slowly heal itself, unless of course it's too late and infection has set in.

The People of Illinois are tired of bleeding to death.

Question for Jack Conady:  Is there a way, for the people of Illinois, to RECALL a Governor???  It HAS to be done!

Governor signs immigration reform bill into law

By JOHN SWAILS
Herald Staff Writer

An immigration reform bill signed by the governor yesterday establishes Oklahoma as the nation’s leader in taking action on the hot-button issue.

Last night, Governor Brad Henry signed House Bill 1804 that recently passed both the House and the Senate by a vast majority.

"We were forced to take action at the state level because of the total lack of action by the federal government on this issue," said State Sen. Jim Williamson, R-Tulsa).

HB 1804, The Oklahoma Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act of 2007, has been in the hands of Henry since May 2.

It has been called the single most significant step that any state has taken in this area and one of the nation’s toughest anti-illegal immigration laws.

"It’s about time we started looking out for the interests of millions of Oklahoma taxpayers," said Speaker of the House Lance Cargill (R-Harrah).

"There are many Oklahomans who work hard and play by the rules every day, but they still struggle to make ends meet. Those are the people we should be looking out for. This important new immigration reform ensures that we’re upholding the rule of law in Oklahoma.

“Our citizens deserve nothing less. Today is a victory for common-sense reform, and we applaud the efforts of Rep. Randy Terrill, who has led the way on this issue. We have now delivered the toughest immigration reform bill in the entire country."

1804 has the overwhelming support of two national immigration reform advocacy groups: The Federation for American Immigration Reform and the Immigration Reform Law Institute.

IRLI is the only public interest law firm in the United States devoted exclusively to protecting the rights and interests of United States citizens in immigration-related matters.

"Rep. Randy Terrill (R-Moore) worked with IRLI over a period of several years to refine the wording of this important legislation," said Sharma Hammond, Staff Attorney at IRLI.

"It was carefully crafted and it is a very fair bill. It is the first of its kind in the nation."

Hammond said that IRLI played an important role in making sure that the bill wouldn’t step on the due process rights of individuals and maintained compliance with the constitution.

"This bill is tough on lawbreakers and protects the rights of the ordinary citizen," Hammond said.

"This breakthrough legislation represents the clear will of the people of Oklahoma. It is a strong reform measure that is a major step in the right direction," said Cargill.

"We have a duty to uphold Oklahoma’s rule of law. Illegal immigration is a hidden tax on hardworking families in this state. It’s costing us hundreds of millions of dollars a year."

The estimated annual fiscal costs to Oklahoma taxpayers for emergency medical care, education and incarceration resulting from illegal, or "guest," workers is currently $207 million.

According to Terrill, author of HB 1804, the bill focuses on four main points.

It contains provisions to ensure taxpayer-supported benefits are made available to American citizens and legal immigrants only.

It also restricts access by illegal aliens to driver’s licenses and ID cards and allows state and local law enforcement the power to enforce federal immigration law.

It also provides for severe penalties for employers who employ illegal immigrants.

"For too long, our nation and our state have looked the other way and ignored a growing illegal immigration crisis," said Terrill.

"Oklahoma’s working families should not be forced to subsidize illegal immigration. With the passage of HB1804, we will end that burden on our citizens."

No longer will they be "undocumented".  The State of Illinois Senate approved today, HB1100 with a 7-5 vote.  You KNOW Governor Blagodope will sign it too.

Supposedly, this is a good thing because it will enable illegals to buy auto insurance, because we know they're all trying to!

What insurance company.....is going to give someone in this country illegally......insurance?

Sure, there will be some insurance policies sold, but they'll never get paid out on.  Insurance companies will flourish on bogus policies, and we will be the ones paying for them in the end(as always!)  because our premiums will continue to rise, because we'll have to keep claiming their accidents under "uninsured motorist" coverage on OUR insurance.

What will it take to get the people into the streets to say "Enough is Enough"??

Click here to see the status of this bill, and all those who've signed on as co-sponsors.

They've also changed the name of the bill now from Road Safety and mandatory insurance act, to VEH CD-IMMIGRANT CERTIFICATE.  This has nothing to do with "IMMIGRANTS", and everything to do with "ILLEGAL-IMMIGRANTS".

The line in the description of this bill states:

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code and the State Finance Act. Provides that the Secretary of State, in compliance with the federal REAL ID Act, may issue a driver's certificate that clearly states on its face that it may not be accepted by any federal agency for federal identification or any other official purpose.

Those of you out near Fox Valley might want to attend a last minute Town Hall meeting by State Senator Mike Noland.  It's being held:

* When:  Tuesday, May 7, 2007, 7:00 pm
 * Where:  C'ville Town Hall Auditorium, 1200 LW Besinger Dr., Carpentersville

I can't wait. :-)

Maybe Fox will have a better shot at doing this.  Last year.....1 month after the 1st Mayday Illegal March, I sent a Freedom of Information Act request to the City of Chicago Finance Depart.....twice.

I never received a reply.  State law however, says they have to provide the information, although when inquiring with the Illinois State's Attorney office regarding a similar problem with another police department, they told me that though there is a law requiring they provide this information, there is no punishment set if they fail to do so.

The Illinois Freedom of Information Act is yet another useless piece of legislation.  Local governments no matter what, will only provide what they want you to know.

Dick Daley, Dick Durbin, Barack Obama and anyone else who thinks illegal aliens deserve a path to citizenship just because they evaded our Border Patrol when trespassing to our country.

Open the doors of YOUR house, to 100 homeless people from the streets of Chicago.
Feed them, pay for their education, pay for their medical expenses and then when it's time.....divy up your property and all your belongings and just give it to them.

Don't spew your hypcritical crap to us, unless you're ready to live by it.

Go on....I dare you.

and fast-tracked to become U.S. Citizens!

Now what?  Has anyone thought of the ramifications of such an thing?  Here's a taste of what it would do to cripple the United States economy.

"New Americans" (this is what they'll be called) can now demand higher wages.  This act alone, makes them less attractive to companies who hire illegal aliens.  Now...the job market will be flooded with low-end, low paying, uneducated labor bringing the numbers of "unemployed" to over 15 million Mexican immigrants, who will be given by law, unemployment.

"New Americans" will immediately put the legal burden of over 15 million (now legalized) immigrants into our already overwhelmed welfare system.

"New Americans" will immediately be given Social Security that you, me and our children have paid into for years, which will bankrupt the system by 2012.

"New Americans" (85% Latino) will take over little communities and create bodies that only look out for the welfare of other Latinos.  This will be dictated by racist organizations like LaRaza.

"New Americans" will flood our roadways with people who never learned how to properly drive, and will kill thousands more every year because of driving while their drunk, because that is socially exceptable in Mexico.  (just can't wait for Cinco De Mayo!)

"New Americans" will be forgiven for not paying taxes, while millions of Americans will face losing everything, and even face jail time because they didin't report a part time job they had.

Everything my wife and I have done in our lifetime, has been for our chidlren, and the prospects of our children losing this country to illegal immigrants simply because politicians sold our country for a vote.....is sickening.

Fox News Chicago doesn't provide Spanish language broadcasts for their viewers, or on their website.  Do think posting blogs in Spanish is a form of Intimidation by LaRaza Newspapers?

Also, shoud they be allowed to post in Spanish when the website is obviously for Engish speaking people?

In the wake of the false outcry from the Hispanic community and 22nd Ward Alderman Rick Munoz, is this an indication that we (Amercians) have let them go too far with their protests?
