One simple statement after listening to the media cry "another teen shot" seemingly every other day...

AT WHAT POINT, DO WE STARTING CALLING THIS A "POLICE PROBLEM"?  YOU CAN'T TURN YOUR HEAD TO ONE SET OF CRIMINALS (Illegal aliens), MANY OF WHOM ARE THE GANG-BANGERS DOING THE SHOOTING, AND SCREAM AT THE SAME TIME IN DISGUST!!!

NO ONE, I REPEAT, NO ONE BUT CHICAGO POLICE DEPARTMENT IS GOING TO STOP THIS MADNESS IN THE GANG COMMUNITY!  IT'S TIME TO PULL OUT ALL THE STOPS!

It's also time for the media to stop sensationalizing every shooting in the city.  Until CPD cracks down on gangs, the way they SHOULD BE cracking down on gangs, it's going to continue!

This is NO ONE'S FAULT, but Mayor Richard Daley's.

If he spent HALF as much time and money on the gang problems in Chicago, as he's spending on trying to get the Olympics here in 2016, I'd venture to say that a few of those (now dead) children, would have been alive today!

Hey Chgowatchdog2, you are 100 percent right. The biggest mistake Daley made was making Chicago ( Little Mexico ) a sanctuary city, he doesn't look at the ILLEGAL ALIENS as law breakers but at future voters. What ever happen to the Alderman father that was making false I. D.s on 26th and Kedzie and where is he at today ??? Both the alderman and his father should both be in PRISON. Like you said Daley and the C.P.D. are the reason that gangs exsist today. Anytime you go past the 8th district you can count at least 30 squad cars parked. You got to wonder where are the Police at and what are they doing.
