Since I'm a Sox Fan, maybe I'm the one to ask. How do you blame a manager when the key players on the team were hurt 90% of the season? The Cubs had only one ace this season. "C. Zam" pitched his heart out and almost had to get his own winning hits for most of his starts. Dusty almost had a different starting line up every day; that's crazy. You can't win when you don't have healthy players....I don't care who the team is.

After attending church service, my uncle wanted to take a peek at a restaurant. We went to Captain Hard Times located on 79th street in Chicago. I couldn't stop looking at all of the very nice pictures on the walls. I don't use words like these often so, please hold on as I try not to choke on them. The restaurant has an elegant and relaxed atmosphere. The waiters are sharp, fast, and very friendly. I went with a group of 5 and I must say, everything that we ordered looked excellent. I left full, happy, and it didn't burn any holes in any wallets. ;o) Happy eating. ;o)

Notre Dame beat Penn State....what a shock.....maybe to you guys. ;o) I don't know why the sports media didn't give Georgia Tech the love that they really earned for playing as hard as they did. They played a very good game but, the media said that maybe ND was over rated. Maybe the media is over rated; did they really think that a rebuilding Texas U. team was better than ND? Shame on them for thinking that.

I love the idea that, after ND gave USC one of the best games in the history of the school, the media claimed that ND's defense is questionable. OK; they didn't show up for the game with Ohio State. I have this fun feeling that they are going to make up for that. ;o) Go Irish!!!!!!!! ;o)

It's a sad day. The only thing that keeps a smile on my face is thinking about how "Da Bears" pounded those "cheese guys" yesterday. ;o) Many people have had the nerve to say that we shouldn't be too happy about the game. I have news for you, I'm happy....very happy. Go Bears....Go Bears.....Go Bears!!!!!! ;o)
