Is Climate Change a real factor, or is it just some exaggerated attempt by some to scare the masses into a End of the World type Mentality?

lol. There are two sides to this story about climate change. Climate is the average weather pattern in an area over a certain time. It stays the same for the most part in a given area. However, it is something that is changes globally periodically (usually in 10-15 year spans). For example warming and cooling of the sea surface temperatures periods. Throughout time, climate has been affected by humans through air pollution, and the burning of fuels. This is where global warming comes into play. This heating produced through cars, factories, etc spreads throughout the atmosphere and causes ice to melt in (hence a positive feedback of melting and heating). Not to say that global warming is the primary factor, but it plays a part in climate change. This explains why we are on a record setting tornado season and even the hurricanes that are developing are slightly stronger. We all remember hurricane Katrina back in 2005. So the answer to the question is yes...just keep those facts above in mind!
